Community Learning Disability Advocacy (non-statutory)

Community advocacy for people with a learning difficulty

We support people to gain confidence and help them to speak up for themselves.

An advocate will offer people short-term advocacy related to specific issues that they want to resolve. An advocate will listen to your feelings and wishes about the issue and work with you to find a way to speak up.

An advocate is not a support worker.

If you have a learning disability, live in the London Borough of Croydon, and think you need an advocate, please call our Referrals team on 0345 310 1812 (option 1) or click here to make a referral.
